I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving, if you celebrated.   Mine was just my parents and I, but we did the full Thanksgiving spread. We also did our annual family doughnut party on Sunday with the extended family.    I got to see two of my cousins and their families and my parents are continuing the traditions my mom’s parents started, which is really fun. It was great to catch up and the kids (many of whom are in college/graduating now!) have fun helping my dad fry the doughnut

Things are humming along around here. I took a couple of days off writing to focus on some admin work that’s been lingering on my To Do list. It feels so good to get that all checked off. I also finished my heirloom pumpkin puzzle and started a woodland wildlife one. I really enjoyed watching the Global Series in Stockholm Sweden last weekend. I am finally settling back into my routine, and it has been such a relief.   My knee is allllmost there and things like doing my morning interval walks on the treadmill and squatting/stretching are almost back to normal. I’m still taking it a little easy but it feels so good to not be limited in what I can do.   It’s been cool and rainy here too, which means I am very  happy. Hooray for real autumn weather!
