FORREST & JAROD – NOW IN AUDIO
Several years ago, I created a fictional small town on the shores of Lake Michigan called Pendleton Bay. The town may look quaint and charming, but there's a naughty side underneath. It's a place where ordinary guys find their kinky happily ever afters. James has been recording it in audio and I am happy to share that book #2 in the series is now available on my shop! WHAT I’M UP TO …
Thanks for being so understanding about the late blog posts lately! Life has been a little chaotic but fingers crossed it’ll settle down soon. The race to the playoffs in real life is heating up and it is for the Harriers too! We’re only a week away from the release of Cheap Shot , and I’m finally doing a cover and blurb reveal. It’s a little later than usual but of course Luke never does things the easy way! It’s been a rough year for our trans friends, so just a reminder t

CHEAP SHOT COVER & BLURB REVEAL
I feel like I’ve kept you waiting foreverrr for the Cheap Shot cover and blurb. Between travel, events, and struggling to find the perfect Luke, it’s taken a while. Big thanks to Kim, who helped me realize that I’d found the right guy on Wander Aguilar’s website, even if the shot wasn’t perfect. I reached out and asked if they one that was cropped a little bit differently and sure enough, they did! I am so glad I asked and I couldn’t be happier with how the cover came togeth

WHAT I’M UP TO …
It’s been both a fun and challenging week! I started planning and writing my latest book and planning the next series, which is always great fun. I also attended a really cool networking event with my cousin and ran across a fellow Loon (Heated Rivalry fan, if you’re not familiar with the lingo). I met someone who is going to introduce to me to a sapphic writer in the Michigan area, so it will be nice to connect with more local queer authors. I also got taken out by a migrain

EARLY LOVE FOR LUKE & SEBASTIAN
My editor is wrapping up her notes on Cheap Shot . The notes I got from beta readers and my editor were so good this time around that I thought it might be fun to share them with you! In addition to the great ones showcased above, I got a few laughs about typos, lots of predictions about future Tanner shenanigans, and a lot of love for Luke & Sebastian. We’re just a few weeks away from the release of Cheap Shot and I can’t WAIT to share it with you!

WHAT I’M UP TO …
I am back from my road trip! I had a fabulous time in Chicago and Minneapolis. At Sports Romance Con, I was able to sign books, meet readers, and do Heated Rivalry trivia! I hung out with Julie, who worked her butt off as my PA for the weekend, met people I’ve only talked to online, and connected with other authors. In Chicago, I got to visit friends, eat delicious food, stay in my favorite hotel, visit Shedd Aquarium and the American Writers Museum. All of it is such a great

DEAR DIARY – SEBASTIAN BRECKON
Dear Diary, God, I hate Luke Crawford. I know Boston fans love him, but I’ve been a die-hard New York Rockets fan my entire life and FUCK THAT GUY. He’s such a scumbag. He’s a shitty player and a shitty person and he wouldn’t even be on an NHL team if it wasn’t for the fact that he’s good at laying hits and fighting. I have nothing against either, in general. They’re a part of hockey and while I have my issues with the league and hockey culture sometimes, I love this sport. I

WHAT I’M UP TO …
Can you believe it’s March already?? I’m in ‘prep for Sports Romance Con’ mode this week! I’m getting everything organized for that, like making sure paperbacks are on their way to Minneapolis, swag is ordered, and trying to come up with an outtake or bonus short I could write as an incentive for people who sign up for this newsletter. So far, I’m drawing a blank though. Not to worry though, if I do come up with some ideas, you’ll definitely be able to read it as well. So, if

DEAR DIARY – LUKE CRAWFORD
Dear Diary, I can’t fucking stand Vintage Jersey Guy. Look, I get it. I’m the most hated guy in the league or whatever. The big, bad enforcer who everyone loves to boo. But this is taking it too far. It was bad enough when Vintage Jersey Guy showed up at every game Boston played in New York. But now that he’s living here in Boston? It’s a fucking nightmare. And yeah, he’s a New York Rockets fan, and the Boston vs. New York rivalry has been going on forever. But who the fuck m

WHAT I’M UP TO …
I hope you’re doing well! I’ll be honest, this was a rough week. I was glad to finish Cheap Shot but the current men’s US hockey situation has me feeling very angry. See yesterday’s post for more on that. I also attended an anti-ICE protest and began prepping for Sports Romance Con in a few weeks. I will be watching sled hockey in the upcoming Paralympics and I am really looking forward to that. I will begin planning the sixth and final book in the Scoring Chances series a

WHAT I’M UP TO …
Thank you to everyone who’s sent supportive messages about me closing my shop last Friday to stand in solidarity with Minneapolis. I suspect it’s something I will need to do again in the future, and I will keep you updated about when that happens. In the meantime, I’m still in Albuquerque. My bestie and I went for a snowy hike in the Sandia Mountains and drove up to Santa Fe to go thrift/consignment store shopping with a friend of ours. We also went for a hike in the Jeme

ILLUSTRATED SPECIAL EDITIONS
I know many of you love illustrated covers and I’ve been working with my illustrator, Colleen, to create special editions of both the Rules of the Game and #Relationship Goals series. It’s been a labor of love and took a lot longer than I had hoped (that’s on me, not Colleen!) but I am so thrilled with the way they turned out. In addition to the gorgeous covers, the special editions will also have custom interior formatting. I will be bringing copies of them to Sports

WHAT I’M UP TO …
If you’re in the US, I hope you made it through the storm safely and I am sending big hugs to everyone who is trying to cope with what’s happening in Minnesota. I’m still in Albuquerque and doing my best to find joy in the midst of the horrors. We managed to miss the worst of the storm, but I did wake up on Sunday to two inches of snow. That’s pretty rare for this area so it made for a gorgeous walk around the neighborhood and then a beautiful hike in the foothills of the

WHAT I’M UP TO …
Greetings from Albuquerque! I am having a great time hanging out with my friends. So far, I have gone on two hikes, to a museum, eaten some delicious food, written some words, and done some relaxing. I am having a blast and it’s so good to spend some time with my favorite people. Looking forward to several more weeks of vacation in New Mexico! Make sure you check out yesterday’s post because Beth Bolden stopped by to tell you about her latest release! Want to know what e

WHAT I’M UP TO …
This past week has been a whirlwind packing for my trip to Albuquerque. I always kinda forget how much work it is to pack for a trip where I’ll be gone for a MONTH. Thankfully, since I’m staying with friends that whole time, I can do laundry. But when I’ll be hiking, going to a goth ball, sightseeing, and working, I have to prepare for everything! Wish me luck. I use an airline miles credit card for pretty much everything, then pay it off every month, so I accumulate mil

TWERKING GOALIES, GROWLY CAPTAINS, AND A BRAND-NEW BONUS
It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since I first released Goaltender Interference ! Connor and Jesse were such a joy to write, and I really love this Boston team. Although I didn’t plan it purposely, their book release landed in the same week as Kiss a Ginger Day. Jesse enthusiastically kisses a ginger every day, so he’s a huge fan of the celebration. I had originally planned to just write up a little post about it and tell you about how much I enjoy these two and

WHAT I’M UP TO …
It’s been quite a week! I went to not one, but TWO hockey games on Saturday. I took my parents to a noon game in Detroit to cheer on the Pittsburgh Penguins when they beat Detroit, then met up with a friend who had free tickets to a 7pm University of Michigan game where they beat the USNTDP (national development program) team. If you want to see my adventures, check out my pics on Instagram . I am also preparing for my annual trip to Albuquerque to visit my bestie and her fam

WHAT I’M UP TO …
Thank you! It has been a wild and wonderful week since I released Delayed Penalty . I am blown away by how much you love Thad & Graham’s story. I’ll talk more about that below but first I want to talk about what I’ve been up to lately. I managed to sneak in a little holiday cheer when I went to see a production of A Christmas Carol and took a day off to do holiday shopping with my parents. They’re both annual traditions and a lot of fun. It really makes me feel like the
