WHAT I’M UP TO …

The Baby Pens are off to the Eastern Conference Finals, Sidney Crosby is doing Sidney Crosby things at Worlds, and Evgeni Malkin signed to play with Pittsburgh for one more year. throws confetti All is right in my hockey world. (I am disgusted and saddened by the situation with VGK going to the playoffs and their vile-excuse-for-a-human goalie and will not be watching any of the NHL playoffs.) 

I am having a great deal of fun in my fictional hockey world. Leif & Tanner are inching their way toward admitting they have feelings for each other and I started planning out my next series! There will be more on that going forward but just know that it will be hockey and I just wrote the first 100 words of a story I won’t get to until some point in 2027. But I have plans. cackles

Writing: 

• Game Misconduct is humming along. I finished a couple of really important scenes this week and am really excited about the way it’s coming together.    

Audio: 

• Readers are looooving Cheap Shot in audio. If you haven’t grabbed your copy from the Shop yet, you can do that here.  

  
  

• James Edward Jones is lined up to record Flipping the Switch and will begin in early June. No release date yet but I will let you know as soon as I have a pre-order up. 

Projects: 

• I did more work on the Scoring Chances special editions and have some more time scheduled to finalize them this weekend. Stay tuned for announcements on those. 

  
  

• I am also working on Scoring Chances merch! Kim & I made a plan for finishing the designs and releasing them, so you’ll see them roll out over the next couple of months.  

Shop: 

• I signed TWELVE boxes of books and shipped them to Kim this week, which means we will be refreshing stocks in both full price and bargain books shortly.
