WHAT I’M UP TO …

The weather went full-on summer in the past week, and I went for a lovely (if ridiculously hot and humid) hike on Sunday. I got to enjoy nature (including seeing a relatively rare bird for this area –a pileated woodpecker!) and hang out with a friend I haven’t seen in months. We grabbed lunch and watched a movie after and it was a really nice way to spend the day.  

My Baby Pens are still doing very well in the Calder Cup playoffs so I’m having fun watching the newish prospects and developing talent there. I’m working on a puzzle and also looking forward to hanging out with friends this weekend at game night.

Writing: 

• I made some good progress on Game Misconduct and am approaching the 50% complete mark.

• James Edward Jones is lined up to record Flipping the Switch and will begin in early June. No release date yet but I will let you know as soon as I have a pre-order up. 

Projects: 

• I did a little more work on the Scoring Chances special editions and have some more time scheduled to work on them this weekend. 

Shop: 

• Lightly damaged signed paperback books are available for 25% off in Brigham’s Bargain Bin and they have been FLYING off the shelves. Some more books arrived at Kim’s place early this week AND I just had seven more boxes delivered to my house to sign and ship to her so we will be refreshing stocks in both full price and bargain books shortly.
