WHAT I’M UP TO …

As many of you know, the Pens got eliminated from the playoffs. I was very sad but honestly, making it to the playoffs at all was a gift. The entire season they had was a gift.
Last fall, they were predicted to be the worst team in the league. Making it to the playoffs with Sid, Geno, and Tanger all there and healthy was impressive and I am so glad they got that again.
I had to mourn for a bit and step away from hockey. While I did, I worked on puzzles, plus went hiking and shopping for flowers. Keep reading for more on that.
But now I’m back to watching hockey!
The baby Penguins (the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins, their AHL affiliate) are in the Calder Cup playoffs, so I get to see a lot of familiar faces. From the bottom of the organization to the top there are a lot of really exciting prospects and strong development, so there’s much to look forward to!
Want to know what else I’ve been up to?
Writing:
Game Misconduct writing is going well. I’m over the 30% mark now, which feels great. Finally getting to see a bit of softness between Tanner & Leif, which I love. If you loved Nico & Auggie, I think you’ll really enjoy Tanner & Leif.
Audio:
I’ve been listening to Cheap Shot audio files and having a blast. James is doing an incredible job as always. Don’t forget to pre-order your copy here!
Projects:
Colleen just sent me sketches of the Tanner & Leif illustrations for the Scoring Chances series. I am soooo looking forward to sharing all of them with you.
Ania is hard at work on the logo for Sebastian’s florist shop, Twig & Bloom. I can’t wait to see early sketches for that!
Shop:
I’ve started work on Harriers merch! Sorry it took me so long, but I am determined to have it up before the series is over!
I am also going to start work on the Scoring Chances special editions later in May! Stay tuned for an update on that.
See you here next week!
