WHAT I’M UP TO …

I’m alive! Still battling periodic migraine attacks as the weather shifts back and forth but this week was much better than last week. 

I’ve been heavily prioritizing rest and gentle exercise. I got a super cute puzzle that is the front of a flower shop! The name of the shop is Wonder & Bloom, which of course reminded me of Seb’s shop, Twig & Bloom in Cheap Shot.  I couldn’t resist buying the puzzle when I spotted it in Home Goods a few week ago.

It’s only 500 pieces (about half of what I usually do) so it’s coming together really quickly. I’ve also been listening to an Irish history podcast, and doing more journaling. 

Last weekend, I watched Mamma Mia and Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again. I’d actually never seen the second one, so that was fun. I also went to see Dirty Dancing on the big screen! Our local theater is doing a bunch of throwback movies. Since I was 6 when Dirty Dancing first came to theaters, I thought it would be fun to do. It was so worth it. It’s a movie I always love. 

This weekend I’m meeting family for a picnic and a minor league baseball game. For the past few years a handful of us have gotten together to see the Lansing Lugnuts. This year, my other cousin and all of her kids are coming, so it’ll be a big group and really fun. 

Cross your fingers we don’t get rained out though because there are thunderstorms predicted for Saturday!

Writing: 

• I began writing Christmas at O’Neill’s, a surprise holiday novella, and I am about 15k words into it.

• James began recording Game Misconduct. I can’t wait to listen to the chapters.
