It’s been quite a week! I went to not one, but TWO hockey games on Saturday. I took my parents to a noon game in Detroit to cheer on the Pittsburgh Penguins when they beat Detroit, then met up with a friend who had free tickets to a 7pm University of Michigan game where they beat the USNTDP (national development program) team. We also did our annual family doughnut party on Sunday with the extended family.    I got to see two of my cousins and their families and my parents are continuing the traditions my mom’s parents started, which is really fun. It’s been a bit of a wild week for me. Lots of things going sideways on me as I try to prepare for the holiday craziness ahead. The cushion was losing its supportiveness and the latch that lets me lean back in it/lock it upright went on the fritz.  I figured it was time to get something more comfortable.    My humidifier and my garment steamer both died too.
