WHAT I’M UP TO …

Sadly, despite a valiant attempt, the Baby Pens lost the Eastern Conference Finals. That’s officially the end of hockey season for me, although I did catch the Stanley Pup the other night.

As always, it was an adorable “hockey game” played by dogs to help rescue dogs find homes. If you want to watch, you can find it here on YouTube.

I’ve been reviewing audio and am up to my eyeballs in Shop updates, illustrated paperbacks, and fun new merch. Keep reading to learn all about that. 

I have plans for a game night with friends this weekend and I am really looking forward to that. I’ve thought about going to one of the various Pride events in Michigan, but the weather has been beastly hot and humid, which saps all of my energy. 

I also put together a little list of fun things I want to do this summer, like making strawberry shortcake, kayaking and swimming, spending a week at the cottage with my bestie, and going to minor league baseball game with my family.

Writing:

• We’re approaching the home stretch for Game Misconduct and I am very pleased by how it’s coming together.

Audio:

• I’ve started reviewing chapters of Made to Order and we will be releasing that in mid-July. The pre-order for it is available now.

Shop:

• More boxes of books have arrived, which means that I have lots of signing to do so I can get them off to Kim and she can ship them out to you.
