WHAT I’M UP TO …

Can you believe it’s August?? My brain is still somewhere back in May … 

The good news is that my foot is looking MUCH better. It’s been a little over two weeks since I slipped and fell on the stairs. I am so grateful that it wasn’t anything more serious than a soft tissue injury because the swelling has all gone down and the wildly colored bruises are gone. It just looks like my normal foot now!

The bad news is that there’s been a plumbing disaster. There’s currently a hole in my bathroom floor because fixing it required removing the toilet & the downstairs ceiling,  taking out a section of pipe, and putting in a new pipe/reattaching the toilet. 

Thankfully, my dad knows plumbing and there’s a bathroom downstairs I can use, but it has been quite a week. Hopefully by the weekend, everything will be squared away but sighs I was feeling a bit like Brie in Cheap Shot for a moment there!

Also, Tanner is driving me up the wall. I haven’t revealed the cover for Game Misconduct yet because … it’s still not done! Check out yesterday's blog to learn all about that!

Proofreads:

• Game Misconduct is coming back from proofreaders and we’re on track for the August 7^th release. 

Audio:

• James has finished recording Flipping the Switch. As soon as we have a release date for that, I’ll share it, along with the pre-order link.

Shop:

• Cheap Shot (Luke & Seb) and Game Misconduct (Tanner & Leif) merch will be on its way shortly. I had hoped to release the Cheap Shot merch already, but I had hired someone to design a Twig & Bloom logo. She did an AMAZING job but is dealing with some really challenging things in her personal life. The good thing about running my own business is that I can give people grace and extend deadlines. I saw the colored version and it’s BEAUTIFUL. She’s putting the finishing touches on it now and I’ll get merch done as soon as she has the final version to me.
