WHAT I’M UP TO …

Great news! The Baby Penguins are still in the playoffs, and I’ve had a very productive week! 

I stopped by the thrift store and bought a little metal organizer for under my bathroom sink. This led to a full sink re-organize (and required buying several more organizers at another store) but after years of it annoying me, now it looks and functions exactly like I hoped and I couldn’t be happier with it.  

On Wednesday, I had a meeting with my web designer, Pippa, about some site updates that are badly needed.  

Some of it is behind-the-scenes tweaks that you’ll probably never notice, but we also talked about adding the alternate covers and changing the layout for buttons to each book page, creating some proper infographics for series & universe reading order and making an ‘about the team’ page so you can learn more about the people who help bring my books to life. I’ll share more on it as we go but I am excited to get it started!  

It was kind of a social week for me too, with dinner with my cousin on Thursday, dinner with a family friend on Saturday, and then plans to hike with a friend on Sunday!

Writing: 

• Game Misconduct is coming along very nicely knocks on wood and I am hoping to really hit it hard next week!  

Audio: 

• Cheap Shot audio files are rolling in, and I am having a blast listening. Don’t forget to pre-order your copy here because it won’t be long before it’s ready! 

Projects: 

• I did a teeny bit of work on the Scoring Chances special editions. Colleen sent the background for the paperback wrap, so now I’m working on title graphics. I’m still feeling a little stuck on colors, but once that clicks, I think it’ll be fabulous.  

Shop: 

• I launched Brigham’s Bargain Bin and I now have bookplates available.
