WHAT I’M UP TO …

It’s Wednesday when I’m writing this and my beloved Penguins are struggling in the postseason. They’ve lost the first two games against Philly and let me tell you, I was NOT prepared for this.  

Apparently, neither was my mom because the other day she said, "You need to tell them to get it together! I was counting on them for some happiness because the rest of the world is pretty awful right now. They're just going to have to win the Stanley Cup. For my sake." 

I replied, "I'll mentally pass that along? Not sure they're listening but ..." 

It made me laugh but I DO appreciate her faith in my psychic connection to a hockey team. I’m sending ALL the good vibes to my favorite flightless fucks that they get it together tonight for game 3. They do have a tendency to be dramatic, so … fingers crossed.  

I would like my fictional boys to get it together too because Tanner & Leif are driving me batshit. I keep having to tweak the first handful of chapters. I don’t think I’ve spent quite this much time fiddling with the beginning of the story. Needless to say, progress is slooooow.

Writing: 

• As you can see above, Game Misconduct progress is two steps back, one step forward. Here’s hoping that I get into a groove ASAP!
