WHAT I’M UP TO …

Thank you so much! There are always nerves before I release a book. I wonder if I “got it right” and worry I might let readers down, especially ones who have been dying for Luke’s story for so long.
But I couldn’t be happier with the reviews coming in for Cheap Shot. You LOVED Luke & Sebastian’s story. I talked about that in yesterday's post, but now let's talk about what else I’ve been up to lately!
I attended the Hockey Night with the Grand Rapids Griffins event on Saturday. I had asked a friend if she’d help out as my PA that weekend and we had a blast. We drove across Michigan to the Pages and Grapes bookstore, set up my table, and I sold & signed a ton of books. About 300 people attended and it was a wonderful event. I got to meet some long-time readers and introduce myself to some new people. waves if you’re reading now
After, we packed up, went out to dinner with some other authors and PAs, then went to the Grand Rapids Griffin’s game. They did not play well that night but we still had a great time. By the time I dropped my friend off at her places and got home, I’d been up and running around for about 17-18 hours and I was TIRED but still buzzing.
I pretty much wanted to sleep/not talk to anyone for about 24 hours after, but it was such a great time and I love doing events like that.
Want to know what else I’ve been up to?
