DEAR DIARY – SEBASTIAN BRECKON

Dear Diary,

God, I hate Luke Crawford.

I know Boston fans love him, but I’ve been a die-hard New York Rockets fan my entire life and FUCK THAT GUY.

He’s such a scumbag.

He’s a shitty player and a shitty person and he wouldn’t even be on an NHL team if it wasn’t for the fact that he’s good at laying hits and fighting. I have nothing against either, in general. They’re a part of hockey and while I have my issues with the league and hockey culture sometimes, I love this sport. I really do.

But players like him don’t help with the cheap shots they throw around.

I will never forgive him for what he did to Nicky. The head shot to a guy who has a known history of concussions? That’s low as shit. And the Rockets totally would have won the playoffs that season if it wasn’t for Luke Crawford knocking the team’s captain out of commission.

Okay, so maybe Crawford was kinda sweet with my niece at the game recently.

She’s been through so much in her life already with her chronic health issues, and she absolutely loves Crawford. Who the fuck knows why she does, but … Okay, actually I DO know why, but I still think the kid could have better taste in hockey players …

So, yeah, I appreciated Crawford posing for a pic and giving her a signed stick and all. It was surprisingly decent of him.

But that and the handjob he gave me doesn’t excuse what he did to Nicky.

Fuck, the handjob. I still can’t believe that happened. What was I even thinking? I must have totally lost my mind that night. I didn’t even know he was into men.

But great handjobs and some signed gear don’t make up for any of his other bullshit, you know? It’s definitely never going to happen again though. Right? I mean, that would be crazy.
