I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving, if you celebrated.   Mine was just my parents and I, but we did the full Thanksgiving spread. We also did our annual family doughnut party on Sunday with the extended family.    I got to see two of my cousins and their families and my parents are continuing the traditions my mom’s parents started, which is really fun. It was great to catch up and the kids (many of whom are in college/graduating now!) have fun helping my dad fry the doughnut

It’s been a bit of a wild week for me. Lots of things going sideways on me as I try to prepare for the holiday craziness ahead. I’m trying to take lots of deep breaths and just deal with everything as it comes but YIKES. I also have jury duty December 1-19 (which includes my birthday on the 18 th 😿). While I would normally be more than willing to participate, this is the WORST possible timing. I’m crossing my fingers I don’t get picked and if you can send a few good vibes,
